We have been asked to prepare a weekly schedule for how we spend each working week. This must include time spent on research, professional practices as well as any and all other aspects of activities dedicated to putting on our exhibition. Following the presentation class, where we had all presented the various projects that we have developed, there was some advice on how best to make use of the time allotted to us between now, the end of Year 2 and the Exhibition.

With our tutor Nigel Grimmer we went to London to visit Tapestry and The Print Space and it was very useful.

Tapestry is the complete production agency. They are a one-stop shop with a track record of helping companies and brands unleash the potential of their visual assets. Their approach combines creativity and coordination to ensure that deliver the right results at the right time.

Tapestry is independently owned and run. They are based in the heart of Soho, with a print and photography studio in Clerkenwell. And with five specialist teams and over 100 experts in house, they have every aspect of production covered, whatever the scale and deadline.

‘With over 40 years’ experience, we’re confident enough to think we’re the best. We provide each and every one of our clients with bespoke solutions that truly meet their needs.’

Theprintspace was launched in October 2007 in Shoreditch, London, and has quickly become a firm favourite with London-based commercial photographers, artists & students. Theprintspace is the first online printing lab to offer fully colour managed prints & offer the full range of professional print types, from silver-based Digital C-types to fine-art Epson Giclees to CMYK proofs.
